So whenever I raid or pvp I tend to listen to music. I like alot of really stupid music depending on my mood, so I assembled a dps playlist which reflects my mindset when I'm either on my Hunter or warrior. shit just totally works. You can peruse my awful taste in epic music for yourself. That 'rise against' cover is fucking win for arathi basin, just sayin.

so apparently back when I was not paying attention last month, I totally missed seeing Anamanaguchi live in philly. They played at the fucking kung fu necktie, which is like 20 minutes away from me. I am so mad at my fail.
I just watched footage of their set from PAX this past weekend. It was seriously the tits.
They're playing a show in . a combination of poor planning and lack of funds is not making this happen. Aiieeee! goddamn my life! |

The 3rd best thing to come out of my previous gay weekend foray.
My friend Dani turned me onto this super awesome noise rock act
from montreal (?) called "Duchess Says". Holy shit! I haven't
liked a bank this much initially since I first heard ADULT.

Man it's gotta be the spring? I think i do this every year, but
I've been on a huge drum & bass kick. It'll work it's way out of
my system eventually, but fuck, Shy FX where you been ol' friend
ol' pal. Oldschool dancehall + beats = win. It's what got me into
electronic music back in the day in the first place. 1st wave Ska
-> dancehall -> 2nd wave ska ->ragga -> roni size -> its all over.
I've branched out ALOT from those days, but it's still nice to
return 'home' every once in a while, if that makes any sense. I
just can't 'live' there anymore, lol. Great shit, but gets too
repetitive after a while. it's always fun to mix it up elsewheres.
It's also extremely -FANTASTIC- PVP music (ATTN: +Rusty+),

Gretchen is coming up tonight. I'm going to feed her lots of veggie Yums.
Then tommorrow I'm taking her for all you can eat vegan dim sum at Kingdom
of Vegitarians, or possibly either Giannas or New Harmony.

Just found out tonight is also SEX DWARF
Which is like Philly's best monthly danceparty. It's basically like a big
80's/new wave/electro dancepunk mashup, with cheap drinks and go-go dancers,
drag queens, the works. each month is themed, like last month was 'Lovich in
the Air'(Lene Lovich night). Or 'Enter the dark Side', which was all remixes
of like, The Slits, Depeche mode, Men without Hates, Gang of Four, The smiths.
This month is 'For the Birds', ala: Flock of Seagulls night. Fuckin A.
