1. everyone that plays in the 30-39 bracket in the Vindication battlegroup is a complete and utter faggot.

2. Leveling on a pvp server is surprisingly really easy in your 30-45's, at least as long as you spend most of your time on kalimdor & avoid eastern kingdoms like the plague. STV is full of gnome rogues with nothing to do.

3. Deathknights have no place in the 51-60 battlegrounds. they're scaled/tuned way to high for other classes to even pose a threat, & just ruin everyone's good time. They should be barred from pvp until they're 60. or better yet give them their own Battleground so they can entertain each other with their endearing shitbaggery.

4. I made 1200g leveling mining from 260 - 350. I never knew, I NEVER KNEW D:!!

Inidentally, Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor is -REALLY FUCKING GOOD-. I'm enjoying it as much as the first season, which really says alot.

DtB is one of the best shows BONES has done since Eureka 7. Gemini is maybe my favorite out of the fall line-up thus far.

Vegan Pizza!

As promised:

VEGAN CHEESE PIZZA RECIPE

(makes enough for 3 small pizzas) will have to take more
accurate mesurements later, but for now, based on eyeball,
I used somewhere in the neighborhood of:

1/4 cup rice dream
3 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp soysauce
2 spoon scoops tofutti
3 spoon scoops tahini
dash of turmeric (for color)
dash of chili powder
1tsp garlic powder (add to taste)
2 spoonful white flour
3 spoonfuls nutritional yeast
(**Spoonful = large soup spoon)

Preparation:
In a cereal sized bowl, fill with the ricedream, soy sauce, & lime juice.
Spoon in the Toffuti & tahini. Microwave for 1 minute.

Stir the heated ingredients vigorously until it all disolves together. stir
in salt, turmeric, chili, & garlic powder. Stir in Flour. Upon adding the
flour you'll notice it start to thicken up, but it will still be fairly
saucy consistency. While stirring, add in spoonfuls of nutritional yeast
till a thick consistency is reached.

Taste often, & add Tahini/salt/garlic powder as you deem fit. you don't
want either to be too overwhelming in taste, but want a happy balance
between the 3.

chill for a few hours (I chill it overnight) to firm up the mixture. When
firmed, it should have the consistency of cream cheese. use a spoon to
apply to your pizzas, & the spoon back to smooth the mixture over your
crust.

Cooking:
Bake at 375 for 20 minutes, or until the cheese
starts to brown a little bit. serve immediately.

Crust:
I use Kontos brand 'Rhogani Nan'. you can get it at pretty much any
middle eastern grocery, or Wegmans. it's egg & dairy free. I reccomend
brusthin both sides with olive oil. it helps the crust crisp up, & adds more
flavor to your pizzas.

Sauce:
You can make your own, but for brevity, I use pasta sauce. My fave
is Pellicano's Dandelion greens pasta sauce. it's really tasty, & adds
to the overall flavor

I've achieved the dream: VEGAN CHEESE PIZZA that doesn't taste awful.

Quite on accident, I discovered this morning a way to make Vegan 'Cheese'
topping suitable for making pizzas. I've been working on a vegan 'cheese'
cream sauce to use with pasta or raviolis for the better part of the last
year or two. Since vegan pasta dishes or raviolis are often my easy comfort
foods for if I want to make something quick that will cover my basic diet
needs, I've been trying to perfect a cream sauce that can be made in less
than 5 minutes of prep time.

Last night I experimented with my sauce using a few variations I almost
never use, and ended up with way too much. I figured I might as well save
it and use some of it the next day for something, but when I woke up this
morning, I found that the mixture had solidified to almost a thick cream
cheese consistency.

Using some Egg & dairy free Nan bread as the crust, I brushed it down with
olive oil, & then layered some Pellicano's Dandelion pasta sauce, garlic,
& fesh ground pepper over that. Using a spoon, I spread bits of the 'cheese'
topping pver this, and popped it in the oven. Much to my surprise. it not
only melted, but it browned in the oven! This is something that commercially
available fake cheese can't even do.

the end result was nothing short of spectacular, it tastes amazing. Success!!
I'm going to make it again with some TVP faux chicken, sun dried tomatoes,
peppers, & red onions. woohoo!

here's what the 'cheese' base looks like. it's so thick that it can be held
upside down and not come out of the container.

so caleb ambushed G an I at the grocery store last night, and a simple jaunt turned into beerfest 2009. In an unprecedentedly terrible move, I decided that I was going to eat a slice of pizza. Part out of desperation for food, part out of jealousy, part out of stupidity? I don't know.

what I do know is I ended up puking my guts out over the toilet, off & on, for about an hour straight, followed immediately by pooping my guts out. followed by hallucination inducing abdominal pain, followed by the worst migraine I've ever had in like 2 years.

it's 7am. G is passed out on the sofa. I am sleepy, too.

in an effort to eek out the last of my late-night-ness, I
logged on wow & decided to try playing my shaman again.

haven't touched her in like almost 2 years.

bitch doesn't even have her epic riding skill and is level
64. ugh. I'm also on someone else's computer, minus addons,
settings, keybinds, & fancy macros.

no ammount of macros or addons or whatever will alleviate
how much I suck as a shaman. I tried to pvp. NOPE. it's
been so long that I have no clue what I'm doing anymore.

time to log off. time to go to sleep.

maybe one day. oh well.

So whenever I raid or pvp I tend to listen to music. I like alot of really stupid music depending on my mood, so I assembled a dps playlist which reflects my mindset when I'm either on my Hunter or warrior. shit just totally works. You can peruse my awful taste in epic music for yourself. That 'rise against' cover is fucking win for arathi basin, just sayin.

oh guild names...

So I got my little Scout to level 10, and she became a Ranger. The whole process is super involved with multiple cutscenes, much more than most games, which are all like "run here, run here, do this, grats on level 10". Aion makes a huge deal over the whole Ascension questline, as I guess it's a big deal since it starts to inroduces one of the big gameplay mechanics: Flight.

**NOTE: I should point out that these aren't like.. prerendered CG. the game takes your little existing character and animates it to achieve the cutscenes. With the excpetion of light special effects additions, the gameplay is pretty much indistinguishable.

On your way to 10, as an Azmodian, you come across this imprisoned guy named Munin, who is a Daeva, which are sort of these immortal, winged demigods that protect Azmodae from harm. Munin recognizes that you, the player, as destined to 'ascend' and become a Daeva, and he sets you on these fairly convoluted quests, which culminate in an in-game cutscene where your character fights some High ranking Elyosian general named 'Hellion'.

The whole sequence is REDICULOUSLY cool and very very asian. you start off on these little islands floating in "the Abyss" surrounded by what are supposed to be your peers. When you show up, they're all like "thank jesus its ****** come to save our asses", then you pop your jet black wings and fly out to this floating island.

Once you land you are ambushed by 4 easily dispatched mobs, and then Hellion comes out.

Hellion's all like "fuck you! I'm from Elyos!"

and you're all like "Nuh uh, sha-naynay!" and materialise some weapons from thin air.

It goes back and forth and then Hellion tosses you on your ass. in typical AZN fasion you do some kind of Dragonball Z powerup and fire a big purple lazer at him, before collapsing on the ground.

You pass out after you fire your laser or whatever the fuck it is, and then guess who shows up? That's right, Munin. Munin is all like "it's you!" and then goes on to talk about how badass you are. the vision fades and he send your to Pandeamonium, the capital city of Azmodae.

Once there, you meet up with a contact of Munin's. A bunch of guard rush in to toss your ass out of the city, because apparently you look shabby by comparison. Munin's pal is all like "oh ho ho ho is this how you greet a Daeva??" and the guards all fall back. You are then sent to the temple for yet another cutscene.

Everyone in the crowd is all highschool about you and are all like "what the fuck, she's the new immortal?". The high priest yells at hem and then they all awkwardly cheer for you.

You get a little quest from your class trainer, and then bam, you hit level 10. your class trainer gives you whatever weapon your new class needd, in my case a bow, & then start training your new basic class skills. You get your shiny new wings and apparently the rest of the game begins past this point.

However, Left to your own devices, you can go running around the city. There are little ferret people wearing vests and a fez that say 'Nyerk nyerk'. OH KOREA.

BTW the city of Pandaemonium is HUGE. Both physically and vertically. People are all over the place jumping off of thinsg and gliding around on their wings. Kinda neat. I'm definitely considering picking this up.

Computer is working again THANK GOD. Put in a new SATA drive last night, & have been transferring stuff off the old drive all day. Thank god for USB drive readers. Jen stayed up past the point where I fell asleep installing WinBorg & making sure everything was ok, God bless her.

I think I'm so used to drives crashing/failing that I've reach a point where I organize all my drives so that they can be easily recovered. Liek this time around, I had the entire old harddrive broken down into 6 parts. a few hrs. of dragging and dropping later and I'm good to go.

only thing that sucks is changing up all my customizations and settings. what a bitch that shit is, right?
